Good morning Summer, I see Susie has finally settled down. Hope things have improved for your mom and all she went through, hope the pain has lessened. Maybe the rest of your day can be nice and relaxing. I don’t remember Dolly ever going below 40. Take good care and Susie give your mom a break and stay in those pretty blues you wear so well :cool:.

Thanks, Adrienne. I'm sorry I didn't visit anybody's post today. Just had a lot going on with other issues. I hope to get back to it tomorrow. Susie decided to "double dip" a little this evening. I wish she were in the blues but feel confident (as confident as I can ever be :eek:) that she will be coming up soon. I think the depot of the 2 units is still in play. I hope Dolly's labs were good. I'll try to check your thread for today. Thanks, as always, for stopping by.

Yes, I really like her nadir today. Exactly where I would want it to be. I just want the high greens and low blues. Wonder if we will ever see them. Thanks, Mandy, for always checking in and offering your support. I know you don't have to but I am grateful.
 
I'm getting a little freaked out that Susie is not coming up at +1 after PMPS. What happened to the typical "food bump"? I guess I will be up with her tonight but will not hesitate to do a "back to back" reduction, if necessary.

You are a gem. Always offering support. Between my Mom's situation and Susie I just want a quiet and peaceful night. I have to get up to give my Mom her prescription medication at 10:00 pm so that will be a good time to test Susie, too. Of course, I will be getting a +2 in about 15 minutes as well. Does life ever get easier?

Susie is at 83 at +3 tonight. I fed her one fat Tbls of high carbs at +3. I fed her m/c at +2. She seems unable to come back up. I don't care if this aborts her cycle. I'm not willing to play this game three hours prior to her nadir. I know that "back-to-back" reductions are not approved but I am taking another reduction tomorrow morning. I'll be going down to 1.50 and I will be up for several more hours tonight to make sure she is okay.

Summer, you do what you think is best for your girl! You know her best, and it's always best to listen to your instincts. (I wish I had listened to mine last night) She's doing great...you're doing an amazing job! :bighug:
