Woke up to red tinged vomit. Called the Vet who thought maybe the ultrasound upset him yesterday. Fed half of breakfast to see if he could keep it down and he could not. No shot this morning. Found more vomit what must have been part of last night's dinner. Thank goodness his numbers didn't drop! Going back to the vet again today. Preliminary tests from yesterday "look good," per the Tech. Ultra Sound showed a "little bit" of thickening in his intestines but they think this is from Feb 2020 when I adopted him and his intestines were a mess from worms. Might be allergic to Chicken but we didn't know till June 2020. She does not want to biopsy his intestines. Waiting for the tests they sent to A&M.....I better have gotten the Spec FPL I asked for!

Numbers on an empty tummy and depot yesterday and today look better than he has in weeks. Sweetheart says the cure to the problem is no food.....I am not in a joking mood :(

My tummy hurts now too!

Samantha, I'm so sorry Mouse isn't feeling well. Poor baby. Please let us know what the vet says ,I see on your SS you are bringing him in today.
I know how upset you must be, Tyler is just getting over an upper respiratory infection. Wishing Mouse all the best ♥:bighug::bighug::bighug:

He’s been off chicken for a year? Sounds like he might be allergic to more than chicken unless it’s pancreatitis. If the SPECFpL is not elevated there might be another cause. I’m hoping it’s positive so you have a possible diagnosis. If negative I would consider scoping. :bighug:

For tonight they say he is constipated again. How I don't know. He has a pumpkin BID and Miralax 1/8th of a teaspoon BID. Increasing to 1/4th of a Teaspoon BID. Vet says that it isn't Megacolon. I love that your Baby's name is Tyler. I dig it when people give their pets human names. "Sorry I was late Tyler was stuck between the refrigerator and the wall again." :) I hope Tyler's infection clears up soon!

I'm secretly hoping positive too but I wouldn't say that out loud to my sweetheart. We know how to treat pancreatitis as our previous cat had it. IBD or neurological links to constipation....not so much.
