Adrienne, is the fire closer to where you live now? This has to be very scary for you. I hope they will be able to put it out very, very soon. You and your family stay safe.

There is 206 Wildfires in our province right now. We have two here that I know of. That are 2 hours away from us. While we were camping we were close to one. You could see the smoke I'll attach a picture. They have brought in firefighters from out of province to help with the fires. The sun looks bright orange in the sky from the smoke. I'll take a pic of it

Adrienne, I hope you have a plan and are prepared to evacuate if necessary. Please, don't put off that plan. You and your husband need to discuss it and be ready if need be!

I'm going to say about 4 years ago. We had wildfires close to our city. We were prepared to evacuate but they managed to control the fire. If any get closer we will be prepared. Just pray for rain and no lightening. Can't win last year we have floods lots of rain this year dry and fires.

I'm so sorry. I think it is the same for many parts of the world. Either fires, or flood or famine or draughts. Or earthquakes, or hurricanes or tornadoes or mud slides. Just an awful situation that man has created.
