So sorry Minnies appetite is not great :( Chico is as well very affected by heat, luckily not his appetite though

what about during the nights? Is it better then?

Not right now, we are breaking records with a "heat dome". It's predicted to break 100F today/tomorrow (hit 40C). This is SO unusual for Seattle, usually weather doesn't start to get nice til after 4th July.

She is eating now for me but unfortunately today refuses everything but DM selects which is MC though luckily it's low (just over 10%).

In our house, a lot! Same for the humans. Went outside to pick strawberries early AM and melted after 5 minutes.

I stopped in your condo last night, but was too hot to put down anything coherent. I wouldn't worry about the odd random high number. Cat are cats! Neko usually delayed her bounce to the start of the third cycle after the event that caused the bounce, made it hard to figure out the "why?" So I learned to ignore the odd high number.

The good news is that Minnie got to nice greens yesterday, so it looks like she is holding the reduction. :)
 
But you have air conditioning, right? So the heat should not be so much of a factor? Is that just a stupid East Coast Mid-Atlantic person (now middle Georgian) talking? I am worried about Minnie’s lack of appetite.

Understand. When we first moved to Ventura County California near the coast, I was very mistrustful of the real estate agent when I asked about air conditioning and was told that we didn’t need it. It was true- except for a few days here and there when the Santa Ana winds blew. Sorry you all are in the grip of such a heat wave!
