AMPS is due in 10 hours.. Need dosing advice.

Hi,
My boy has been on several different Lantus doses in the last while...After several weeks
I finally did a curve on May 18t 2021. And i am unsure about what dose to give him
for his AMPS...?( due in less than 10 hrs.) Decrease, Increase or stay on 1.75 Units?
Can someone take a look at Milos SS please?
~ He is on SLGS. ~ I tried to edit his SS to "SLGS" at the top of the page,
but was unable to do it.

Hi Mariaana, I would increase the dose to 2 units. He has had some BGs drop under 150 earlier on with this dose but not the last couple of days. ****ETA I think you should stay with the current dose of 1.75 units for the moment..please see post 4 below for explanation.
I will ask @Bandit's Mom if she can fix the SLGS on your SS for you.

Looking back over Milo’s SS, I can see you are not following the SLGS method properly. If Milo gets a number under 90 he has earned a reduction in dose and it should be taken. I can see three places where this has happened and the reduction has not been taken.
You are testing enough to be doing the TR method, providing you are not feeding any dry food if you wanted to swap over. .
Because you did not take the reduction earned 8 days ago, I think it would be better to stay on the current dose of 1.75 units for a few more days.

Hi Bron and thanks for responding and the good advice. Milo's AMPS was 16.

Hi Bron thank you for responding. Milos AMPS was 291/16.2 and i shot 1.75 Units.

Hi again Bron, i was reading The SLGS method initially when Milo was newly diagnosed (Feb,2021) and
didn't absorb everything being overwhelmed and stressed... but did a" refresher" 3 days ago.
Yes i now realize that under 90 earned him a reduction of 0.25.How many days should i stay on 1.75 do you
think..? I am only feeding wet food and Pure Bites Chicken for treats... I will stay with the SLGS method for now. Your advice is much appreciated Thank You!
