I've been using a small amount of Neosporin which is helping bead and as antibacterial etc. Then wiping it off.
Also, switching ears. Of course the ear that has not been used much doesn't want to bleed much.

Thanks for that! I know kitties are sensitive to so many every day items we take for granted. I will try the cool wash cloth with very little Vaseline, since it is a petroleum product I only use it on light bulb threads o_O (makes them easy for removal)
My friend who has 3 cats got a bouquet of Lilly flowers. I reminded her how toxic they are to cats, after saying how beautiful they are :stop:
 
Ben got a reduced dose of abt .75 this morning. +6 was 51 Woot! I am worried abt dehydration, I have not seen him drink for a while. I am going to use a different bowl and change where it's placed. Been adding a bit of water to his food. Made baked meat for him today with lots of juice from the meat, he should like that.
Only have 2 test strips left til Amazon delivers tomorrow. I got 150 this time.
 
As the numbers improve he will not be peeing or drinking as much. My young ones eat all raw and I add water. One never drinks and I worry a little about the one that does.

I never had less than 150 extra strips since I couldn’t purchase close to home.

Looking good so far.

Thanks. I mixed the finely cut meat and broth with his Halo food and he ate all. I feel better. I know in nature our cats get all moisture from their prey animals. I'll just need to be on top of that issue. I think that's why it's so hard to get a blood sample.

Being a nubie I didn't realize there would be so many error strips. $ an issue too. Im getting the generics for $0.17/strip. I have 200 on the way. Last order abt 2 weeks ago was 100.
We'll get it, we're getting there. Darn I'm tired. Glad human baby came when I was 21 :coffee::cat:
 
PMPS 80 shot .75U I was so careful only used 1 strip :joyful: 1 left for AMPS Ben loves his new treat, soft baked chicken breast :cat:
 
PMPS was 48 so reduced to .5U +5 was 49 I'm hoping this is okay. I started a facebook fundraiser today to help get his dentals done.
 
It is not recommended to shoot when they are under 50. Even those of us who have a lot of experience and data do not shoot numbers under 50. With no mid cycle tests today it is hard to say whether he was lower and is on the rise. Please get a +1 and be prepared to intervene with HC food and continue to monitor tonight to be sure he is safe. You may need to be up for a while.
 
+1 was 37 put maple syrup on tongue and fed high carb food. Here we go. How low will he go? I will monitor close Sad, tired cat mom
 
It's still the higher depot at play. Please test in 20 mins since the HC/syrup.

I suspect the food change is paying off and he is racing down the dosing ladder. You may want to skip tonight to drain the depot. Let's see.
 
I gave syrup again have a can purina in gravy. He's not eating right now. I think he's full.
 
I think you should skip his shot tonight - irrespective of the PMPS and drain his depot. Like I said, we've seen cats race down the dosing ladder after a change to a low carb diet.
You've fed him syrup every half hour from +1 to +4 just to keep him above 50.

I have to step out in a bit. He has to stay up 2 hours after the last meal to be in the clear.
If he wants to eat though, let him.

Post the test results here. I will try and watch out for them on my phone :)
