THank you Carla I am right in thinking that a Long Term Diabetic needs below 50 3X before a reduction can be taken?

Once under 40 or three times under 50 if the cat doesn't hold reductions well.

Pamela - did your little gem seem different at her lowest BG? Any low signs?
If yes, I'm not sure it is best to follow the set rules (?) for a reduction. Also, to be sure, does she not hold reductions well?

Hi!!!!! She does not show ANY signs of a low BG PLUS she will not eatI had to syringe baby food into her and give her Karo ,which I am sure does not taste good She has not had a reduction in over 1 year and if I remember, I will have to go back and check her SS, she did not hold reduction well then BUT she has been on Cabergoline for almost 4 years and the CBD Oil so I believe things are changing I wish the CBD Oil could get rid of the awful Corneal Sequestrums in her eyesTHanks for your help and concern

When I am low, I have to force myself to eat glucose tabs or drink OJ, for example. (I have a touch of hypo-unawareness. I'm usually fairly low like 45-50, when any symptoms start/ I used to start feeling low at around 60-65).
I know some cats help themselves to food when low, but I wouldn't 100% count on it.
Just concern my dear, about not reducing. YOU know I love A, and I know cats and people aren't exactly the same, lol!
