Looks like Susie is going to have an average/high day today.

It dawned on me last night, when I was lovin' on my girl, that I have seen three improvements in her health the last couple of weeks:

  • She isn't throwing up like she used to
  • She isn't hacking like she used to
  • She isn't swallowing like she used to
I don't know if it is the lower glucose or the milk thistle that has helped her. Maybe both. I just know I am grateful. She also appears to have a little less dander but that might be my imagination.

Prayers for those missing their loved kitties and prayers for those that have sick and hurting kitties.

Nice to hear Susie is doing better. It looks like today should be a flat yellow day. You shouldn't have to worry when you go out later.
Yes, I think it will be a yellow day too. She didn't budge much from AMPS to +2. Good thing she didn't decide to act up on a day that I have to leave.

Hi Summer. Great to hear all the improvements with Susie. Hope you both have a happy, purry day!! (Well, I don’t really know if “you” purr :joyful:) Sending hugs :bighug::bighug::bighug:Don’t forget, Susie can be full of surprises. :D

It is days like today and the 21st that I definitely think Susie needs an increase. It is days like the 22nd, 23rd and 24th, where I have had to intercede with food at extra times, that I am not so sure. This is why I am glad I am on SLGS. Gives me the broad spectrum of a week to evaluate a dose.

If there's anything I'm learning right now, Summer, it's that baby steps are the only way this works. You got this, and Susie's lucky to have such a dedicated cat-mom. :bighug: Zen used to spike so badly overnight. It's only super recently that we managed to get it even remotely under control. Hopefully it continues (it feels so precarious), and hopefully Susie continues to see more the awesome improvements that have come recently!

Thanks, Emily. A disappointing day.

This is such a good report! That is huge. The swallowing problem is going away! The hacking... the vomiting! Hoorah! That makes me so happy. Susie must feel a lot better. :-)
