5/24 Ruby AMBG 71/+7 77/PMBG 85

Are we doing an OTJ trial? Looking awesome! :D
Not officially, Tanya. We've only passed a week since Ruby was in the hospital for her tummy flare and she's still on supportive meds so we're proceeding cautiously. I'm afraid that if she has another one her BGs will go up again, so I'm doing more testing than one would do on a trial to get ahead of a BG spike if I need to and keep her on some insulin if we're sending her for endoscopy to figure out more precisely what's going on with her gut. At least this is the plan.

Yesterday on The Tale of Ruby Cat. :cat:

Hungry. ✅Purry and lovey. ✅Day 5 of a green start with no insulin and depot drained. ✅:woot:

Healing thoughts for all of the sick kitties and hugs to you beans. :bighug::bighug::bighug: Have a good start to the week, everyone.
Hi Katherine, how are you feeling? Sorry I haven’t asked the last few day, I’ve been lost in Dollyland  So happy depot is empty and Ruby’s numbers are beautiful. How is she feeling? Wishing you a stress free day with lots of purrs and cuddles. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Adrienne, I've been well! Worrying about Ruby has taken my mind off my own convalescence, but I'm nearly 100% better. Thank you for always asking!

Ruby is doing well today. As I was making a new batch of raw turkey and lamb for her she was winding around my legs like a lion who hasn't eaten in days so I gave her some. I'm giving her as much as she wants to eat to get ahead of days when her tummy isn't well. She hasn't needed any appy stims or pain meds since Saturday, so I'm glad about that. The weather is cooler today than it has been and I opened the windows for her to sit at and look for her bird and squirrel friends. She's been much more alert and active. All of this plus her good BGs is making me feel relief.

Hope Dolly is being a good girl for you today and that you're doing well. :bighug::bighug:

Thanks Katherine for getting back to me. So happy to hear you are so much better and that Ruby looks like she’s on the mend. Dolly has squirrels and birds as friends as well although when it comes to the squirrels it’s a toss up, I love watching them play maybe more. Hoping for continued good news for you both. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Ruby is doing sooooo well. I'm so glad to hear about the hungry eating! And the BGs are just AMAZING... the accidental remission. I've never seen that one before... but there are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in my philosophy...
