Yesterday on The Life of Ruby.
Today has not started well. Ruby ate her +9 snack at 4 AM and then woke me up at her usual shot time to feed her which I took to be a good sign since she hadn't done that in a long while, ate her breakfast of raw turkey and bison with gusto and then threw it all up 5 minutes later.
I have been feeding Olive the same food to no ill effect. I gave her an ondansetron and another cyproheptadine and she has only eaten 2 Dr. Elsey's kibbles and nibbled on some Weruva Family Food. She is refusing to eat her raw food that she once enjoyed so much.
@Liz & Minnie What are these "darcines" you speak of so highly? Are they canned sardines in water from TJs? I have one near me and can go to get some if it will get her to eat.
Thanks everyone for all of your loving support.
I am so very worried and it's helpful that you all know how that feels.

Suzanne, I really appreciate you sharing your experience with me. It sounds absolutely harrowing. I am so sorry you had to go through that. The only way I'd agree to do a biopsy is if I could get an endoscopy. There must be doctors in the NYC area that do this for cats.I had a cat who, several years ago, had a laparotomy to biopsy all of his internal GI parts.
Thanks everyone for all of your loving support.
