5/10 Darcy, AMPS 275, +5 238,

Darcy is eating a little. Not a lot. Disappointing. Seems happy enough.
yesterday's: https://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/thr...3-5-208-5-185-7-5-132-10-154-pmps-239.247168/
Good morning Suzanne. You sound like me, I hope you don’t feel like me. You sound worried and sad (may be the wrong word). Darcy’s been doing so well, come a long way from pre vet days. Dolly is sending her hungry tummy prayers to Darcy with some hugs added for good measure :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug: Hang in there Suzanne, things often change in an instant.

I keep hoping poor Darcy will get his appetite back. I am sure you are frustrated with that and the yellow numbers but maybe the meds are ruining his appetite and keeping his numbers high. Just be patient and do what you have to to keep food in his belly.

Seems happy enough
Then Mr Darcy earns this today :cat::banghead:. Cat fine, mama stressed. I feel your concern and frustration.

I guess, if I look at his s/s and try to think objectively, his dosing has changed pretty dramatically in a short space of time while he was regularly at the vet, so it shouldn't be a surprise that the dose still needs a lot of tinkering? Now, I'm saying that without any science or looking at trends or any of the reasons we track on the s/s...just on gut instinct. Really just saying that to try and put a supportive different perspective on things, though I know it really doesn't make a difference. We worry and feel sick with worry - especially with the not eating!! I was nearly frantic (well, slight exaggeration) yesterday when Minnie suddenly didn't want anything she normally had. No idea what caused it but by night time she was back to eating her regular stuff. It is SO HARD to not panic when any of the things we look at are not going well (BG, ketones, appetite) EVEN WHEN kitty "seems happy enough". Those are the times I wish I didn't know so much!

Hang in there. Excellent ketones by the way! Trying to celebrate the wins. :bighug::bighug:
