? 5/8 Phoenix AMPS 62

It is time for Phoenix's morning insulin injection. His BG is 62. Is it safe to go ahead and feed and shoot ? At +9 this morning, Phoenix was at 86. I gave him 2 pieces of chicken and his BG rose to 96 at + 10. He was 97 at +10.5. and 74 at + 11.

Yes. Please feed and shoot. Get a +1 and feed higher carbs then if he doesn't get his usual food bump.

I assume you are home to monitor?

He really like diving at AMPS, doesn't he?:rolleyes:

Good think you shot today. It's possible that AMPS was a double dip and he went lower earlier last night.
