Yesterday on Ruby’s So Fine.

We had a surprise low number last night, dropping from 99 to 51 in two hours. Haven’t been feeling great and left food out for Ruby after I tested at midnight and went to sleep. Bowl was empty this morning and we were rewarded with a nice green AMPS.

We have so many sick kitties lately. Sending all of them healing light and warm hugs to you beans. Happy Wednesday.

Thank you, Margaret! It's actually great that Ruby came to me last night to nudge me for a test, sensing her own BG levels were low and wanting fuds. I always find it amazing that she knows what time it is and that she needs to eat something.

Yesterday on Ruby’s So Fine.

Hi Katherine, Ruby's numbers look really good, Great job Ruby!!! Hope you are feeling better today . We put food out every night and pray Dolly doesn't do any big drops. We stay up as late as we can and until I can pick Dolly up by myself, it's not very late. Looks like Ruby's heading towards a reduction. Yay Ruby

Thanks for coming by, Adrienne! Ruby's doing really well. Her numbers have been very good and she's been invigorated by the arrival of spring and the opening of windows in the house. It's good to have a happy cat. Hope you and Rob are well!

Hi Katherine! Are you still feeling ill from the COVID shot do you think? Or not? You did have the second shot, didn't you... or am I being stupid again and mixing you up with somebody else? Anyway, Ruby looks so good! She's very clever! But a 99-51 drop in two hours! That's a little scary. Did you feed her anything between the 51 and when she came back up to 70, or did she just do it on her own? I hope you had a wonderful day.

Hi Suzanne, thanks for your concern! I did get sick from the COVID shot but got over that pretty quickly--you have a terrific memory! I have another nagging health issue that is getting me down but I am dealing with it next week.

Ruby is a clever girl. When she dropped I did feed her some raw turkey and a dash of 12% MC and she came up like a good kitty. The drop didn't scare me as much as it surprised me. We can't let our guards down with these kitties, can we?

Looks like Darcy has had an eventful day. Hope you're coping!

PMPS = 82.

Ruby just threw up after eating her PMPS meal 20 minutes ago and I don't understand why. Nothing is different about this meal over the others. Perhaps it's constipation?

I've been a bit absorbed in Buddy's drama and it is wonderful to see how nice and green Ruby's spreadsheet has gotten. You've done such a great job keeping a calm head and steering her here. Much better this round on the 0.25 dose.

Thanks for stopping by Mariette! I’m not doing anything here, Ruby is the one leading this dance. It’s as tho some internal switch went off and the blue AMPS numbers went away <anti-jinx>. Hope Buddy’s doing better today!

TBH she might have produced some small poops when I wasn't looking and they look like Olive's. I'm not entirely sure. She hasn't been acting like she needs to go. We shall see.

Hi again Katherine. I have been so wrapped up in my own stuff I somehow, until today, didn’t realize just how poorly you’ve been feeling. I hope you are on the mend. Sending healing prayers your way. I also took note of Ruby’s big drop, Dolly has done that but not in awhile. Her numbers have been so up and down. I still can’t pick her up and my husband just can’t stay up, he works so hard all day to care fo us, feed me home made healthy meals. Anyway, Ruby’s numbers made me think of how I take Dolly’s +2.25 of 89 safe and we can go to bed by 10:30. Leaving out food for her. I never do this without some fear. I guess I can’t stay up 24 hours a day sometimes I wish I could.I hope you are sleeping, healing during the night and hopefully wake up feeling much better. Be a good girl Ruby and surf safely.
