Yesterday's Condo
Good Morning everyone and Happy Easter Sunday!
Luci had a lovely day in the lagoon yesterday and surfed nicely for a few hours! I guess she likes this dose much better than the previous doses...I just wish she'd stay steady instead of all the ups and downs...but I guess that is the life of a long-term diabetic. She certainly seems to be in fine spirits this morning as I saw this big black flash go galloping by after some cat-world excitement occurred and she roared from one end of the place to the other and escaped out on to her lanai for some early morning bird watching! She's so funny when she does that...love it!

Today is my 41st Anniversary of working at the University of Michigan! Such a long time ago...I remember thinking that I'd stay a couple of years..and then maybe look for something else...well obviously that plan never transpired and here I am still working - but I love my job and my boss is a real peach...I know I complain a lot about it, but honestly it's a great gig and many would kill to have the opportunity to work remotely from Florida no less...while Michigan winters rage on. It's the best of all worlds
I'm very appreciative.
So since I'm not a religious person - today this is what Easter means to me...and here is a photo of a bouquet of flowers that I put together yesterday - I saw these lovely orchids and just had to add some - although the color is lost in the photo - they're a lovely rich magenta color mixed with white roses and lilies...
I do wish all of you a fabulous day however you spend it. I hope your kitties surf safely and I'm sending special thoughts and well wishes to @Our Dolly Girl's mama Adrienne as she continues her recovery from her fall and subsequent surgery.

A big bouquet this weekend!
Yes, there's the new expresso machine in the background!
