03/08 Jax PMPS 74

Hi Susanne, just loving those green AMPS pre shots. Jax is supervising made me laugh lol.
Tyler will wake me up at 2 or 3 AM looking for a snack. Paws at my face
He is relentless. I can just see what it's going to be like when I can't feed him after
midnight for the dental. It's going to be brutal with his annoying meow lol

I'm going to ask my vet for the gaba . Drop off will be at 8:30 , wish it was earlier so
I wouldn't have to listen to him

He jumped to our kitchen counter and got on the bar area. He just sat there and watched the guy go between the unit inside and the one outside lol. Meanwhile, Benji behaved more cat-like and hid inside his cage.

lol. Jax's was 8AM drop-off. He had a teaspoon or two of food to have gaba (itty bit of food was approved by his doctor). At least it will just be one night. And if your doctor says to do the pre-dose of gaba perhaps he'll be quieter (Jax is at least). You two will be okay :bighug: How's Ashley :bighug::bighug::bighug: Good luck seeing your dad tomorrow :bighug:

I'm going to ask my vet about a small amount of food if she gives me the gaba

When do you usually give it at midnight before the drop off

I do a pre-dose (100mg) about 12 hours before the appointment and then I do another dose 2 hours before the actual appointment - this dose is an experiment for us still...fearfree pets (link) says to do 100mg and that's what my regular vet recommended too - I would call your vet and ask for sure - Tyler's bigger than Jax...right? Jax is 14-14.5lbs - he stumbles a little bit on 100mg so keep Tyler in a room where he won't jump or climb if you give it to him.

Excellent work supervising that HVAC tech, Jax:cat:. I'm sure you made their job much easier:p.
Butters also meows at 5am every single day until I get out of bed:rolleyes:. I hope Jax doesn't make it a habit:coffee:.

he stayed out of the tech's way BUT he supervised from the kitchen counters - we've been here 5 days and today was the first day on this trip he ventured back up there...we really were liking not worrying about food on dishes and things he would get into on the counters :joyful:
