Yesterday's drama. 
This morning Ruby was at her usual spot on the sill, watching for her squirrel friend who lives in the tree outside the window, waiting for me to wake up. She seems to be feeling much better after the antibiotic: last night she pranced around the apartment yowling triumphantly with a piece of kitchen twine that she "killed" in her mouth. Ate all of her breakfast this morning without the need for meds and swallowed her antibiotic like a champ. Hooray for small things.

. I'm so glad she is open to eating different proteins! It will make the transition easier.
I was really expecting her to snub it. I left it in a corner of her bowl with her regular food to give her the option of avoiding it if she wanted to but she went for it. Didn't even have to dress it up in Fortiflora or crushed treats.
