Previous condo!
We were able to administer 50 mls of fluid to Ruby today. It took some effort. She didn't "buy" the distraction/treat of tuna and Fancy Feast broth, and jumped off the couch three times after I stuck the needle in her before she finally acquiesced. It seems she prefers to be stuck on her side rather than between her shoulder blades. Now she's napping with a lump of fluid on her right side which I hope will dissipate in a few hours.
Thanks all here for your tips and loving support. It takes a village for Ruby
to get fluids!

Otherwise, not much else new to report in Rubyland. Waiting patiently for Ruby's AM preshots to come down. Not sure the +9 snacks are enough of a nudge to her pancreas yet, but we will keep experimenting with and without snacks at various levels of LC to see if something works.
Healing thoughts to all of the sick kitties and hugs to you beans who love them so. Hope everyone is having a beautiful day!
