Hi
Previous post
Lily started bouncing and it didn't resolve. I realised when I started using calipers that her starting dose and all subsequent doses had been larger than I thought (probably not quite as large as I have now got on my spreadsheet but somewhere between 0.5 and 1iu larger). She had some low reads and I was dropping her dose, any bounces were resolving in well under 24 hours, but then the long bounce happened and I started worrying there was something underlying that had flared. I took advice and 'reset' her on the planned starting dose of 0.5iu. I'm on day 5 of that dose now and she's still very high and I'm feeling terribly guilty. I haven't been testing a lot during her cycle outside of the PS tests because I was waiting for her to settle but have started taking spot checks now. Hopefully there's enough information for someone to guess at. Instinct is of course to increase her dose because insulin will help but given her bounce I'm not sure. Shall I hold it for another few days?
Thanks
Liz

Right. I shall follow instincts (and better advice) next time. Hopefully I haven't done too much damage in the last 4 days. I won't say which fb page I got this advice on but I will take it with a pinch of salt next time.
