I was surprised to see he was 144.

If NO, can you hold on for a few minutes. I just want to ask @tiffmaxee to have a look at Blue's SS and ask her whether she thinks you should go for the fat 0.5IU again or instead go to the skinny 0.75IU this morning.

Some news: vetty bean called this morning to let me know the Noodle's C&S was clear!

I'm so relieved that the infection is gone, especially after all she went through with the co-amoxyclav side effects.

And she passed a jumbo stool plus a regular-sized stool last night. Fully formed! Hoping and praying that the 'backlog' (no pun intended) is now clear and that the diarrhoea is fully resolved.

Blue is down to 88. Going to check my notes on what to feed, but I'm thinking it's high carb but drop of honey?

Me too! You can see how big a bouncer he was!

I hope you do get the calipers. As I just suggested to someone else, look at the lines on your syringes and how off some of them are. It can easily be 1/8 or more difference. Nothing to a human but a lot for a small cat.

Just gave Blue HC snack but a small amount and a drop of honey. That was a big drop in a short period of time.

She's certainly not looking as miserable and uncomfortable as she did yesterday lunchtime. She's currently curled up on the sofa with her heat pad under the blankie, blissy on bupe.

He finished his food so put a drop of honey on my finger and he licked it off. I'll check him again in about 25 minutes.

Don't feed too much HC. You are going to have to keep Blue hungry enough to eat.

Once you've opened the can, put the lid back on top and press down on the food to squeeze out some of the gravy. Give some of the meat plus the additional gravy you've squeezed out. It'll have more carbs and be less filling.

He is safe for the moment. Carbs wear off quickly and it is still fairly early in the cycle. You are going to be testing for a while.

53. That's a big phew! from the Mogster, but Blue's at the point in the cycle where he's normally dropping so much checking needed right now. (((Blue)))

FYI, the only symptoms Saoirse showed when she had her one and only symptomatic hypo were lethargy and unresponsiveness (eyes open and head up a bit but no reaction to her name being called).
