Hi Paul, yes it does, it's only been one day that he's there, and already called me and my sister to get him out of there.
I spoke to his nurse and said give him time to get used to everyone, and his surroundings.
Said he was confused, leaving his room a lot walking around and going to the nurses station .
He was always one to never stay put, always as out of the house early in the morning.
Physical therapist was there today to asses him, so hopefully will start therapy Monday.
Keep him occupied.
He was getting so mad at us for putting him there which broke our hearts, so we just keep telling him you need to get stronger and that's why you are there.
After 14 days we can go visit, will face time him this week.
Don't know if that will be a good idea yet, he'll probably really lay into us.
Hasn't been eating good they told us but tonight they took him to the
cafeteria to eat rather than in his room and he ate really good.
Sleeping now, I just called to check on him.
Funny they took him there last night by ambulance and he asked the guy could they
make a pit stop, the guy said where, he said to my sister's house to get the money he had there, the guy said sorry but no.
He didn't forget about that lol
LikecI said you will talk to him and he fully understands what you're talking about and the next minute he's in another world.
Hopefully his mind will improve.
Today was his birthday 87 years old. They got him some balloons.
I guess it will just take time for him to get used to everything.
I hope so.
So will take it day by day.
