My newly diagnosed cat Oliver has been on Vetsulin for past month and got very sick 3 days ago with vomit and diarrhea. Two days in hospital: IV for fluids, antibiotics for high WBC, switched from Vetsulin to Lantus.
I am very worried about his BG's today since I am new to Lantus. AMPS=312, +2=266, +5=355, +7=394, +9=585. Should I do anything or is this OK?

please keep your question up so others can take a look but I do know If you gave Lantus this morning, you won't administer another shot until 12 hours after the morning one.
glad to here this.
.) I cut Oliver a lot of slack if he's not feeling well.
