They always leave a bit of the uterus in for a stabilizer. They call it a " uterine stub"
She had an emergency hysterectomy about a year ago because it had filled with fluids, and they couldn't identify what those fluids were then either.

Thank you she's all paid up. I'm more concerned about her health right now, and getting her glucose levels down. She's over 200 right now, and I'm not sure how much of it is still stress.
