? Hypo question

I was taking your question as a hypothetical one. Cats can nadir a lot later than +6, depending on the cat and situation. With Lantus, Apollo's drop in numbers should start slowing down as he gets towards nadir. Once you get to that point, he'll probably be good for the night.

He's just been steady dropping right at 80 points every 2 hours and his +4 was 166. If he drops another 80 at +6, it will take him to between 80-90. I ask because I wanrt to know if I should stay up and get a +8 to see if he's not dropping dangerously low.

Hi Dave, if this were my cat I'd absolutely want to get at least one more test, since this is 'new territory' and I'd want to be able to see what was going to happen. If you see the rate of drop slowing right down then it's 'likely' that that slowing down will continue.

It slowed, his +6 was 112, only a 50 point drop vs the 80 points at +2 and +4. Gonna take a chance and sleep for 5 hours so I can check him an hour before his AMPS test, so I can make sure he's going back up when I check his AMPS.
