See It Here: Top Tens Of Everything On The King Live

Vacuuming the house can be a frustrating task, especially when you have a bulky vacuum cleaner. When choosing a vacuum, you should think about two problems: Is it easy to maneuver and move around? Can it do the cleaning job properly and effectively?

In this article, we have chosen the 5 best lightweight vacuum cleaners as a useful reference for you when choosing one for your home. Check them out!

The 5 Best Lightweight Vacuum Cleaners

Your choice will depend on the surface you’ll be vacuuming and on how much time you will spend cleaning. There should be at least one vacuum on this list that meets your needs.

Oreck Magnesium RS Swivel-Steering Upright Vacuum Cleaner

As an upright vacuum cleaner, this machine from the brand Oreck is incredibly lightweight. It weighs under eight pounds!

The Magnesium RS Swivel-Steering features a five-layer HEPA filter that can capture most particles, dust, and debris. The speed of the brush roll is adjustable: fast when going on carpets and rugs, slow when going on bare floor. You can easily spot the switch right on the handle of the machine.

What is more, the machine will automatically shut off if the brush roll is jammed by clothing or other items. This is what I like best about this vacuum cleaner.

I have always been a fan of upright vacuums because they can help you clean more easily under furniture or hard-to-reach areas around the house.

As for the price, I have to say that it is quite costly, though the quality is good. You know what people say: A high price often comes with great quality. Be a smart buyer!

    PROS:

    • Works well on different surfaces
    • Extremely lightweight
    • Different modes for cleaning
    CONS:

    • Costly
    • Weaker performance over time
Dyson V8 Animal Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner

Dyson has always been famous for its excellent-quality vacuum cleaners, especially the cordless ones.

Currently, the V8 version is known as one of the best cordless vacuum cleaners.

The V8 is specially designed for deep cleaning surfaces with pet hair, dirt, or debris. With special filtration, it can capture all allergens as well as pet odors to freshen the air you breathe in.

Having a pet is fun, but it can also be challenging, as pets – especially cats – usually play and hide in hard-to-reach areas. These areas are hard to clean if you don’t have a good-quality vacuum cleaner. With the V8, you won’t have to worry about this problem, as it ensures that you will suck up 99% of pet hair, dust, debris, and even pet odors!

What I like most about this vacuum cleaner is that the process of cleaning is easy and convenient. You won’t even need to touch the dust! However, the battery runs out fast, which can be a big issue for those who usually have to do hard cleaning jobs.

    PROS:

    • Lightweight and compact
    • Elegant design
    • Hassle-free thanks to the cordless feature
    CONS:

    • The battery dies out quickly
    • Takes a long time to charge (four hours)

BISSELL Multi Auto Lightweight Lithium-Ion Cordless Car Hand Vacuum

If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly vacuum cleaner, check out this machine from BISSELL – the Multi Auto Lightweight Lithium-Ion Cordless Car Hand Vacuum.

The perks of getting this handheld vacuum are that it offers not only portability but also potent suction to help clean up all the mess your kids make around the house or in the car.

You might be surprised at how small and lightweight this machine is. Yet, don’t underestimate its power. It comes with a convenient hose, a crevice tool, and wand attachments that make getting into hard-to-reach areas as easy as pie!

The charge time is short, and so is the use time. However, this Bissell model is pet-friendly and will easily remove all the pet hair in your house.

    PROS:

    • Small and lightweight
    • Reasonable price
    • LED-light-equipped
    CONS:

    • Short-time use
    Bosch GL-30 BGL3B110 Vacuum Cleaner

Another contestant on the list of the best lightweight vacuum cleaner is the Bosch GL-30 BGL3B110.

It is small and easy to move around, with a four-liter self-sealing bag that offers high filtration. However, if you have a pet, this machine won’t be the best choice, as it cannot suck up pet hair very well.

Given the low price, the quality of this machine is quite good. The design is simple yet elegant. It is also quiet when working; the noise level it creates is only around 79 dB. What is more, there is an anti-allergen AirClean 2 filter, which you can wash a few times before you need a new one.

This Bosch model includes automatic cable rewind and variable suction power that works well on almost every kind of floor. Bosch offers a range of optional accessories that you can get for just a few bucks more.

    PROS:

    • Lightweight and elegant
    • Powerful suction
    • Reasonable price
    CONS:

    • Cannot suck up pet hair well
    • Uses lots of power
Shark IONFlex 2X DuoClean Cordless Ultra-Light Stick Vacuum

Last but not least on our list is the Shark IONFlex 2X DuoClean Cordless Ultra-Light Stick Vacuum.

First of all, it comes with two batteries. This is very convenient because you can pre-charge one battery while the other one is working and then switch if you need to clean more but the battery is out of power.

There are three different modes for cleaning. Personally, I believe that the best mode is the upright mode. You can also switch between the modes easily, with little effort involved in finding which button to push.

My favorite thing about this vacuum is the Reach Mode. It is literally a life-saver if you have to vacuum under a table, a sofa, or other hard-to-reach areas. This feature also lets you change the angle while vacuuming, which makes this vacuum one of the most popular cordless vacuums on the market.

However, the ‘lightweight’ feature seems to be a bit inaccurate, as it is not that lightweight. In general, this vacuum cleaner is good to have at home because of its useful features that not all vacuum cleaners offer.

    PROS:

    • Comes with two batteries
    • Offers Reach Mode
    • Powerful suction
    CONS:

    • Suitable only for small storage spaces
    • Costly
    In Closing

Hm! I can't help you but maybe a little more detail (or a picture) could help others. What color is it? Hard or squishy? Can you pick it up and move it under the skin or is it attached to the skull? The vets didn't want to aspirate it? Hopefully it's nothing since the vets aren't concerned.

If squishy it would most probably be an abscess but the vets would have known that...I think:rolleyes:

LOL. But if it's been several months it should have popped on its own, in theory anyway.

I had a weird squishy bump on my dog's head, vet aspirated it and said it was just a sebaceous cyst. She drained it but it came back, as she said it would.

Please have them check for cancer. I read somewhere that cats with cancer sometime get lumps near their mouth. Pogo had one and I had it removed. I kick myself for not spending an extra $100 for sending it to a lab to be analyzed, because he died of cancer about 4 months later. I pray that your kitty will get better.
