So that I don’t forget, let’s talk tomorrow morning. If he’s any lower than 150 at amps. stall, don’t feed and retest in 20 minutes. If still low post for advice. If the site is down like it was this morning and in doubt then skip. I think you said you have a vet appointment and work obligations tomorrow. You might even need to have a higher no shot number for tomorrow morning only. Remind us when you shoot and when you will be away.
 
He ate mostly canned food, right? It has a lot of water in it. If concerned add a little water to his food each time. I used to do that all the time. If he’s urinating less and since his bg is lower he won’t drink as much. Do you know hotvto test for hydration? Pull up fur and see if it goes right back down. Feel guns to see if moist and not tacky.

Great i will do that, thank you. Yes only canned food today.
 
Thanks Jayla. I just took a shower. I never changed from my walking clothes.

He might just not feel great right now. That will change quickly.

You are doing a fantastic job. I was determined not to test at first. My friend and my sister had diabetic cats. They would just shoot blindly and lucky nothing happened.
 
I just realized we are 3 hours apart. If nobody answers when you post I would not shoot anything if under 150. If between 150-200 I would shoot .25. If over 200 shoot .50. This is because you dint have enough data and will be gone a lot. It would be a one time thing and resume .50 for the night dose.

Great job last night, Paola. That was a very long day for the pair of you. :bighug:

Sorry for the abrupt departure last night: passed out. :oops: :rolleyes:

I'll keep an eye out for this morning's new thread, Paola. Am I right that the next preshot test is due in just under an hour?
