5/26: Nova-amps 58... +10.5=48, 11-51; 11.5(pmps) 46; +1 78; +2.5 87; +3.75 89

I thought she may have gone below 50 last night, but...well, she did just now. Reduce .25 tonite? If I remember correctly--newly diagnosed, (under 1 year) reduce under 50.

I am so used to increases in the past, and was ready for one in the near future, but I guess she has a different idea! I never thought I'd see the day...and was so worried she may have had an underlying issue just one month ago. I am so full of happiness and much gratitude for this Board! :woot: Let's keep our fingers & paws crossed she continues this downward journey.:cat:

I would. You don't want to push her...If she's going down that often it's best to take the reduction.

She's looking good! Keep testing :)

Looks like Nova wants to go in the other dosing direction for now. Good luck with the new dose. :D

Did you get a PMPS test? If you fed at +10.5 when she went low, I would want to make sure she is rising and you aren’t shooting a carb influenced low number,

I sure did....every half hour +11=51; pmps at 46 :) Fed shortly afterwards.

I know she is mostly carb influenced...it was so close to feeding/shot time, that I didn't feed her until her usual time. Now....if she went into the 30's I may not have done the same thing because she gets ravenous and I get scared....

Just a FYI, you shouldn't shoot an under 50. Even the most seasoned people here don't to that - it's just not safe. Hope you've got lots of HC and coffee ready, just in case. :coffee::coffee:
Probably could have used that advice earlier. So, a 51-56 is a shoot, but not a 46 or 48......Yes, I have lots of coffee and all of the supplies needed. Monitoring closely.

+3.75=89 going to feed an LC snack to be safe since I shot the 48 and she didn't raise as much as she usually does and she is hitting her onset. Nadirs are anywhere from +6-11

+5=107 food helped

Ha Ha Ha! Turned around and both cats are staring at me wanting their midnight snack. As usual they are early (by 40 mins) gotta wait till the clock strikes midnight at least!

after that......Test & alarm set for +9 will feed again then if I feel the need to. This girls gotta get at least 3 hours sleep....
