@carfurby I think she is doing ok considering the change in dose. Also, it may be just like in humans, some live better on the lower blood glucose levels while others function just fine on the slightly higher ones. The goal is to have her most of the time in double digits, but if she hits low values a few days in a row, she will get a reduction in dose because I would prefer her to be in the normal range throughout the day instead of bouncing from too low to high.
How are you Carla? Is your little furbaby feeling better? She seems to favor the high BG values these days.
 
Nice start for Chanel. I hope she surfs safely today. I'm doing well. Furball and one of my civvies have been sneezing on and off for the past month. The crazy up and down weather affects them just like people. I wonder if that affects her BG. Other than the sneezing, Furball is doing well. Thanks for asking.

@carfurby That might be the reason why she is playing up and down with the BG values. Chanel started scratching herself but I washed the bedsheets today with the hypoallergenic detergent (for babies), so hopefully she will feel better. I also have a feeling that she does not like if it is too warm in the house.
 
Yeah, Chanel is trying to be funny and pulls all kinds of funny numbers. If she continues like this, probably she will need the dose reduced again. For now, she got the full dose and we will see how it goes tonight and tomorrow. If she is funny this way tomorrow as well, she will get down to 1.5...pinky promise or should I say lagoon promise?:kiss::p

Although I have to say it's very difficult to see that in your PMPS column - did you take a reduction? That's very low on the AT2 meter.

@Sue and Luci Just reduced the dose yesterday. I will monitor her today and tomorrow and if she continues her bouncing, then I will reduce again on Thursday. Since she does not hold the reductions well, I am expecting to see low numbers at least for 2-4 days before reducing the dose. Also, the first reading was after she slept hidden in the closet for the entire day, the left ear reading of 77 was taken at approx 5 seconds later, it might also be an issue with the strips. She cannot possibly increase 30 points in 5 seconds, she is not a Tesla, I think LOL
