Well I'm still in hospital, they did all kinds of heart tests and all came back well
My bp goes up, down and normal
When bp goes low I get lightheaded so next step is seeing my gastro dr, since I have gerd, barrett's esophagus, my nexium quit working, this awful heartburn wont go away!!!

Do you mean 'heartburn'? Let's hope your heartbeat doesn't go away!

Hoping they can help you figure it out soon! Getting to the etiology of the problem is the most important thing - before they can begin treatment.

Sending prayers and hugs that you'll get outta there soon - I hate being hospitalized! :bighug::bighug:

Oh, that sounds terrible to have to deal with all that! I guess the good news is that you're in the right place to get a mystery like this figured out. I hope they do so soon, so you can start fixing it. Glad you checked in to let us know how you are doing!

Jamie, I'm sorry to hear about this!
Even though tests coming back negative are usually a good thing, sometimes one wishes for a positive so that treatment can commence.
I hope you feel better soon!

Hi Jamie, Thinking of you and sending lots and lots of vines, white light, prayers that the doctors will be able to help you. From your description it sounds like more of a gastro-intestinal thing than a heart thing. Hang in there and try to get some rest (not easy in a hospital!). Bella will be fine. Don't worry about him.

Gastro dr came by,he said with Bw and symptoms, hes 99% sure I have esophageal erosion, and it would cause most of the symptoms I was having, he put me on this liquid 4x a day and make sure I don't eat or drink anything after I take it, it will coat and heal the erosions, hes gonna check back after 2 doses and if it works I'm going home, I still take my nexium 40mg 2x a day, not concerned with cancer that since I just had scope done a yr ago, he said esophageal cancer doesnt grow that fast, lol want wanted to know if I was extremely stressed or drinking and smoking, do t drink or smoke but lmao stress uhhh yeah!

Praying the treatment drinks stayed down, you already feel better, and you get to go home soon. No more stress for you young lady:)
You are definitely missed - it's great to know your DH is caring for your kitties. Rest, relax and heal:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Jamie, I am so sorry to learn that you are in the hospital. Hopefully -as you get to read this - you are already home and feeling better. I hope the liquid has made you feel better.
Prayers for a speedy recovery:bighug:

YEAH!!!! I'll bet you'll be so glad to get home! Even though I work for a hospital, I absolutely despise being in them...too many things can happen...unfortunately! So glad you're outta there!

Take it easy when you get home...don't just jump back into it! Enjoy your kitties!

Yes, they put me on a new liquid medication to coat my esophagus, cant eat or drink for 30 min, also changed my heartburn meds, gotta pretty much eat bland foods until it heals and follow up with my gastro if any problems, still here waiting for the primary to say go home, omg!!!!!!

It always seems the day your discharged is the day the doctor comes as late as possible
