Walter dropped to 52 at PMPS+8 ; is now at 242 +11. When it’s time for his AM shot, should I decrease/ skip?He just vomited some of the food he ate a few hrs ago

With TR, you don't decrease unless the numbers drop below 50. You'll want to hold the current dose.
Ok—thanks. His numbers have decreased over the last few cycles (which is good) but he can be so erratic that it’s making me a little anxious— especially since I’m not here during the day.

I think there's more than a good chance that Walter will bounce off of the 52 from last night.

Do you have a timed feeder? It helped me feel better about Gabby's numbers when I was at work.

No advice here, just sending support. I also have a guy whose numbers are pretty erratic, but that's also because *I* tend to freak out! heehee  I'm also away all day and it is truly nerve wracking thinking about our little sugar butts at home . . .

Take care, know that you've got lots of support here :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you!!

Hi Zelda, I saw you PM. If you ended up not shooting the reduced dose this cycle, that's okay, as long as you take the reduction tonight. If you can get one out the door test after your preshot, and if it continues to rise more than just a food bump, that might indicate that he'll bounce this cycle anyway. Glad to see his buncing isn't as atrocious as it used to be. Anytime I was worried about what my kitty might do when I was away, I left higher carb food, like something around 9% but Mav is pretty carb sensitive.
