How would you feel about a 0.5 unit increase next? Today is cycle 5. You could either increase tonight, or tomorrow if you think you'll be able to monitor more then.
The reasoning behind this comes from the
Tilley's website, the place where TR started. They can be a bit more aggressive than us, and it's not something I would suggest unless there are extenuating circumstances like playing dose catch up after an insulin change, and ability to monitor well. So for any lurkers, this is a suggestion for Fa only. Here is the part from Tilley's I'm thinking about. Under Phase 2 - increasing the dose:
Fa is getting close to 5 units, which is where we would increase by 0.5 units under TR anyway.
What do you think? I want to use the 5 days left to get as close to a better dose, safely, as we can. The ideal would be to get her to a place that has nadirs from 90-149, but I'll take upper blues too. Nadirs of 90-149 means maintain the dose under SLGS, should you return to it. With a +2 or +2.5 every day, you could still theoretically do TR with the type of testing you do at night.
