I'm really trying to get him into the green on this dose and there's no way to give 1/2 of what we are giving. I haven't fed him yet and I"m getting ready to recheck in a couple minutesHi Suzanne!
Are you going to be able to be home to test today? If so I would grab a +0.5 and see if LT is on his way up from 95, if he is I would shoot and monitor closely for the first few hours. If not I think I would consider skipping.![]()
I'm blessed to be retired, so I can test and send husband to pick up grocery order 35 miles away.I agree with Amanda. Grab another test and see if he's coming up on his own. You can shoot as long as you can monitor as long as he's not still dropping. If you can't monitor then skip.
That is a blessing.... everyone keeps telling me not to wish my life away but... here i am at 33 dreaming of retirement.I'm blessed to be retired, so I can test and send husband to pick up grocery order 35 miles away.

If you can monitor you’re in a good situation. Still wait to see what the next test is and then make a decision from there![]()
Totally... in the mean time... I've got my rose colored glasses onCareful what you wish for.
Nice!Going to give insulin and monitor since 104 is basically the same as his 95.

I'll change it to 0.1U now that I understand the differenceLooking at your spreadsheet. Are you giving 0.1 units or a drop.
A drop is when you hold down the plunger as you insert the needle into the vial. Then you release the plunger and pull out the needle. This should give you a drop of insulin.
I hope the drooler came up easily and surfs.
At least you don't have people with it too!!! Just made me laugh!I'll be doing the first check at +1 today. However, it must be low BG day around the Burton household today. The diabetic drooler is also low, so he's had his food and a biscuit and re-checking him in about 15 minutes. It's a diabetic merry-go-round this a.m.
Well it was a wasteland of lancets, strips, and strip wrappers along with cotton balls everywhere. At least you don't have people with it too!!! Just made me laugh!

Thank you for your prayers. My husband is driving her to the vet which is about 15 miles away. Angie, the mule, is like my DH's trail-riding mule; she's like an extension of him when on and off the trail.Suzanne, how is your mule ? Prayers sent![]()
It's pretty amazing how far LT has come in 4 weeks. I'm hoping he continues to hold steady; maybe work his way to the lagoon a bit more. This group is heaven sent. I'll post about Angie when I hear from DH.Look at LT doing so well on his tiny dose! How does it make you feel Suzanne? I think it's amazing.
Hope Angie has a good vet visit.
Extra prayers for dear AngieThank you for your prayers. My husband is driving her to the vet which is about 15 miles away. Angie, the mule, is like my DH's trail-riding mule; she's like an extension of him when on and off the trail.

Glad to hear. I assume the DH is coming home as well.So the mule is more comfortable now and coming home.

Admiring all those low blues and high greens on your spreadsheet.
