Getting kinda frustrated. Just trying to hold the dose and not obsess too much. Planning to wake or stay up to get a +6 tonight since he came down at +2.

Fig is super hungry today, eating food unusually quickly. I was starting to transition him to a new food flavor, not sure if it has something to do with the hunger (nutritionally they are basically the same).

He had his regular meal (1 of 4 for the day) after the +4. Just barely lower at +5, no obvious food spike, so looks like I'll be up for a bit! :coffee:

I'd see about another test again at +5. With SLGS, you hold the dose 1week, and given you just had 126/118 stall on July 21st, you'd definitely hold the dose. You may actually just now start to see what this dose can do.
I was wondering about the stall and if that "resets" the countdown. In any case, definitely holding a bit longer!

Nice +5 ;), I peeked in SS. Hope Figaro keeps his bouncing to a minimum tomorrow. I know the higher numbers are hard to see, but he's having a great cycle tonight. Not sure of your feeding schedule, but kitties can bounce too not just from dropping to lower numbers they aren't used to, but because of steep drops. You might try feeding some LC earlier in the cycle, see this post http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/8-10-tashie-pmps-high-questions.101989/#post-1087990

It might help lessen the drop and resulting bounce. Just something to think about :bighug:

Thank you for that! I have been thinking about moving up his second PM meal. I had it later because for a while, he was having some tummy upset so I gave him several small meals for less time "on empty," but that issue seems to have subsided now.

And yes I'm really happy to see these lower numbers! It's a relief. Hopefully for both of us!

Great job with Figaro tonight!! Isn’t it crazy how one more cycle on a dose can just change everything. I can’t believe the change from his PMPS to now!!

So sorry you have to stay up :( But this curve is looking good!
And I'm glad I got to see it!! Though.. I am heading to make the coffee now :coffee::smuggrin:
