Be sure you feed HC food....a good portion. Test before you go and feed again...leave food out.

Some cats are very hungry then so you could try giving a teaspoon or so of food the take the edge off just before or while you test.

This is what I do with Nelli.
Realizing the food won’t hit if it is safe to shoot... if test shows don’t shoot she’ll get sum HC and then be real happy
