What are the percentages for low carb and med carb? Thx. Happy New year!
Low carbis when the % calories from carbs is <10%. Some say <8%.
Medium is between low carb and maybe 20%
I was just reading the Lantus group slang dictionary today (to try to figure out references to sharks and the lagoon), and they define it as:
LC - low carb aka reg canned food (usually 10% carbs or less, depending on the carb sensitivity of the cat)
MC – Medium carb food (usually 11 - 15% carbs, depending on the carb sensitivity of the cat)
HC - High carb canned food (usually 16 - 24% carbs, depending on the cat)

Low carb is under 10% but most try to stay under 6. Some cats are very carb sensitive & just a few carbs can make a difference.
Happy New Year to you too!HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Teasel is actually a true short hair with a very long slender tail. You can’t tell from the photo.Teasel looks so much like my youngest civie Munchkin - he has the softest med long hair and a bushy tail.

They sure could be!I added Munchkin's pic above - except for hair length, they could be siblings!
