I honestly think that with his current readings, you'd be fine upping the dose to 2u. He does seem to be a little more stable and he hasn't seen a blue or green reading for days. If he's in the red or mid to high pinks at pre-shot, I'd try 2u. If he is lower than that at pre-shot, you can always back the dose down a bit when you know you can't monitor. The problem with leaving him in those high numbers is that he gets used to them and then it gets harder to get them down again. Granted you don't want him pulling any crazy stunts when you are not there but he's got a fair bit of room to drop into better numbers.
I know this is a lot to ask, but is there any way for you to get a later reading during the night cycle say between +5 and +7? It looks to me like he may be going a bit lower at night (a common occurrence) and we're just not seeing it and that is what is giving you the red pre-shots in the AM. If you can get readings in that time frame a couple of times, it might shed more light on what he's up to.
