Good morning!
AMPS 167 shooting 1u.
Yes I was planning on increasing. Given the green last night and the fact that DH and I want to go away this afternoon, I will give him one more day.

Boomer ate most of his overnight fuds, leaving his +6 like usual.

Allen ate very well last night and left us a lovely present in his lb. I've given up the "high carb food" test to see if I could bring his BG up; obviously the information I was given (or read somewhere) that high carb food just forces the Insulinoma tumour to drop more insulin into him was correct; his BG has been "low" every time we've tested. And with a "low" BG, we haven't wanted to fast him so he hasn't had his alendronate. I'm transitioning him back to low carb foods and will test his BG in a couple of days.

I've been out to two ponds today without seeing much in the way of birds.

This afternoon we're thinking of going to Hawk Cliff which is on Lake Erie and where the raptors migrate through.

Hi Judy, I just found a really neat bird-migration site (in real time!). It's created by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and is called BirdCast.
Check it out! It is a cooperative project with Oregon State University and U. Mass Amherst, as well as the National Science Foundation, NASA, and NOAA. Unfortunately it covers only the US. I wonder if there is a Canadian counterpart?

Increase is on the table, Boomer!
Good luck with Allen's "adjustment"!

Thanks Ella, I will take a look!
There is a site I (kind of) follow, it's called Ebird. People can go into the site and log what they've seen and where.

I think EBird may be linked in the BirdCast site. Sure is a lot of migration activity here now. Our Hummingbirds have left, but I leave the feeders up for migrants from further north. Soon we'll have the big Canadian Geese flights. I love to hear them.
Enjoy your birding afternoon.
It's really warm here (way too warm). We had a great paddle on Friday on Lake Lila.

Very warm and humid here too! I think it's supposed to be a bit better tomorrow. Do you ever see Loons on your paddles?
