Chloe's numbers have been low today. Her PM was 37 so I didn't shoot. She had been pooping and peeing on my bed this past week. My vet gave me some antibiotics for her and she hasn't done her business outside the box for several days.

Anytime Chloe gives you a number in the 30's, that's an automatic 0.25 reduction in dose. She gave you a number in the 30's at the May 6th PM cycle. You should have taken the reduction to 0.75 units then. 1 unit is too much insulin now.

That makes more sense. I panic when she's in the 30's, thinking that she's hypo, but now, this morning, she's in the 400's.

@Wendy&Neko I don't give dosing advice in L/L, so I'm wondering if you can clarify: if Chloe is in the 30's, should Roberta skip that dose, and then give the reduction on the next cycle?

Hey Roberta, you need to reduce her dose as she has gone too low twice now on the 1 unit. I see you shot the 1 unit again this morning since she was so high, that is what we call "shooting through the bounce" Please take the reduction tonight no matter what number you get for her pre-shot number as she has told you that 1 unit is too much for her.

@Djamila , she said she had skipped the shot, which is good.

However, shooting one unit again was not good. Please only shoot 0.75 units tonight.
