I got back from India on 4 March but have an awful case of bronchitis. Girlie did SO well with Deesh, my vet tech pet sitter. Her numbers were great (even two green AM and PMPS!), and she stuck to Deesh like glue and cuddled with her at night while she watched movies. It was worth every penny to have Deesh stay at my house and take care of Girlie rather than have her stay in a cage at the vet's.
But she was NOT happy with me about this! When I came home, she gave me the cold shoulder for many hours, only finally forgiving me that night. Now she's cuddly velcro cat again. I'm glad I have the bronchitis, as it allows me to be home with her so she feels reassured.
Max is coming home from his glorious spa time at Cat Utopia tomorrow. I know he'll be happy, but I also know that he's been having a splendid time in his own Penthouse suite and time on the garden jungle gym and extra cuddle time. He always comes back looking at my house with vague disappointment, as if the digs aren't quite what he's been used to, but he'll make do...
I hope everyone has been well! I'm going back to bed as I feel awful, but I'll check in when I feel a bit better.

Sounds like the petsetter is a keeper. I hope you had a good time.
