Asia is doing well, as lovable and adorable as ever. Continues to eat her food in one sitting, most of the time. This is day 3 of canna companion, nothing so far to note.

I increased her to 1.25 this morning, as greens continued to be even more sparse and higher in both cycles yesterday (even with a lower than usual preshot last night). We will see how it goes.

Good luck with the dosecrease. Glad to hear Asia is doing so well. Sending prayers for your daughter.

Thanks for the prayers, DD is doing great so far and pain is minimal and manageable. Giant dressing (pretty much a soft cast), will come off Tuesday, I think that's when it will get tricky, being brave enough to try to walk on it again. Then lots and lots of rehab and hard work. The hardest part of the whole ordeal so far is she is frustrated she can't dance and move as much as she wants to. She doesn't like to be still, ever (even when she sleeps she isn't still ).

Oh man that has to be frustrating! Is she itching to get back to practicing and dancing? When can she resume? Hope she heals quick!

She is, it's driving her mad. She still goes to class every day and just watches everybody else dance. Not sure when she will resume, it will be gradual and hopefully she can do some things in the next couple of weeks, but she probably won't be in pointe shoes or back to where she left off for a good 2-4 months at the earliest. Youth is on her side, so she should heal quickly, the trick is healing without scar tissue.

Sounds like patience will be key. It's hard for me, hopefully she'll undertsand the importance of it after the whole ordeal. Best of luck with the healing :)

Was looking good for a minute there and then I think I overdid it with the Karo!

I tried to get her to eat Radcat at the 126 since it was a big drop, but she just wasn't having it. Either she wasn't hungry or she might be consitpated. So I overcompensated with the Karo since she wasn't being her piggy self and she's always on board to eat gravy & Karo.

Hope she will come down a little instead of continuing to rise until shot time. Whoops!

51 at +8, it's later in the cycle, and I obviously overdid it with Karo earlier and didn't want to cut her duration, so I gave her Radcat with a tsp of pumpkin (so half and half) and +8.5 69, a pretty good bump for 30 minutes. I wonder if pumpkin raises her BG a bit, anyone know the carb % on pumpkin?

I skinnied her 1.25, it's between 1 and 1.25. 1.25 seemed to work almost too well and I want to see now that she has momentum if she can stay in better numbers without needing heavy Karo intervention. She absolutely would have gone below 50 twice today without Karo and evening cycles are typically lower. I hope it was a good call. Will see what she does.

There are some carbs in pumpkin, but I don't know the numbers. It never did anything to Neko's BG, but with being an acro, not a good example.

Nice long stretch of green today. :D
