Well, Pig has been trying out the reds lately. Apparently, he has decided that pink is not a good color for boys. Ugh. Here is to another tango!

So, I am curious. It would seem that these higher numbers coincide with a change in food. I recently ordered and started feeding the Weruva Fowl Ball. Now, I picked it because according to Dr. Lisa's food chart it was low carb, low phosphorus. There should be no reason why the food would be increasing his glucose. Unless... I recently pulled him off of the Chicken Sheba Pate because he had gotten to where he really did not want to eat it and he was acting even more off than normal after meals. I put him onto the Beef Sheba Pate and saw good results. His numbers went back down from reds to pinks, his appetite increased, and he was feeling loads better. I assumed it was the addition of the R to the regime. However, then we went back to chicken and almost immediately started seeing awful numbers with increased lethargy. I am wondering if it is possible if he is having a gastrointestinal reaction to the chicken... Think IBD and unique proteins.. Is it possible for a common protein to build upon its inflammatory reaction? I am very curious and am trying a beef pate again to see if there is a change. I will know with the next cycle (or even this one) numbers. Raw should be here shortly. Finding the right food is proving challenge and my cupboards look like a small cat grocery...

On that note, the little squirmy guy moved on the R shot again and it might have been a partial fur...
