Thanks WendyYou asked yesterday what HC I gave Neko. She was much more carb sensitive than it seems that Amethyst is. I could get away with 16% food most of the time. I was giving her Cats In the Kitchen pouches in the 16-17% range. For higher carb, I was giving Weruva Grandma's Chicken Soup (over 20%). But I was also limited in that I need to stay away from wheat which disagreed with her, and I wanted low phosphorus for her kidneys. If a Temptations treat works, try it next time. We have had members before used them as HC. I just personally prefer to stay away from them.

THanks it has 6 weeks!! I can not get her stay still! The vet said that the Gabapaitin which is for pain will make her sleepy Maybe that will help her healAw, poor Amethyst!

THanksI sure hope so, they are so tricky, it's not like you can tell a cat to stop being a cat...well you can, of course, they just don't listen!I hope the gaba and some extra snoozing does the trick for her.
