You asked yesterday what HC I gave Neko. She was much more carb sensitive than it seems that Amethyst is. I could get away with 16% food most of the time. I was giving her Cats In the Kitchen pouches in the 16-17% range. For higher carb, I was giving Weruva Grandma's Chicken Soup (over 20%). But I was also limited in that I need to stay away from wheat which disagreed with her, and I wanted low phosphorus for her kidneys. If a Temptations treat works, try it next time. We have had members before used them as HC. I just personally prefer to stay away from them.

Aw, poor Amethyst! :bighug:

What did the vet say? Keep off of it some more? Hope she's on the mend from that soon, it's been a good while so far, I know. :bighug:

I sure hope so, they are so tricky, it's not like you can tell a cat to stop being a cat...well you can, of course, they just don't listen! :p I hope the gaba and some extra snoozing does the trick for her. :bighug:
