Good news on the rear end of the cat. It seems like the switch back to his old food cleared up the runs. Both the new foods had xantham gum in them, not sure if he is just very sensitive to it. The old food has guar gum, but it affects him less. On to the next game of try foods again. Raw is at the top of the list since it does not have gums in it. I just worry a bit about price with him going through almost a pound a day of wet food.
The clavomax seems to make him nauseous, but no vomiting. He just gets kind of mopey for an hour or so after his dose even with food.
Looks like the thief got into a bit of candy at some point. I'm a bit baffled since none was left out that I saw and his pm numbers were good. He threw up this morning and up came some foil wrapper, so he got into it again this year
. With his +6 I'm guessing it was more recent then last night.
I have a few IM vets I've found from searching, now to try to see what kind of info I can find. One is already ruled out do to a ton of horrible reviews.

. With his +6 I'm guessing it was more recent then last night. It is on the table if things get worse with the kidneys. With his current numbers, Tanya's ckd site doesn't generally recommend them. Also, as Wendy mentioned it could be contradictory if his heart is enlarged. Are you doing (or have you considered) SQ fluids?
She did, Tanya's site also mentoned the same thing. Ihave been trying to find info about steroids "wrecking" the kidneys and the only stuff I can find refers to anabolic steroids which is a whole different thing then anti-inflam steroids.I seem to remember from what Marje has posted before that kidney infections take a much longer course of ABs.

. Surprised he wasn't punished with a red for being a bad kitty.
