It is my first challange with low numbers that is why i am scared but excited also to see these good numbers. Hope not to jump again to high 300 in the next days.

Green time is healing time for her pancreas. It's daunting and scary but you're doing great. Shooting low to stay low is the L&L motto and I've seen it work :)

Give her some LC and some gravy. I believe it is still the depot at play from the higher dose and looks like you'll need to help her out at least until after nadir and she rises on her own without food for 2 hours.

Hopefully that carries her though. She's not dropping fast (pretty flat actually) but you'll need to keep her surfing. I'll need to step out for a few hours soon. Keep doing what you're doing and if she goes below 68 break out the honey or karo. @Nan & Amber are you still around?

Ok i can do that.

So if she reached her next shoot and BG as same as her last PS. Should i shoot the same dose?

Lets see how this cycle plays out. I'm inclined to say yes on holding the dose but we also want you to get to a dose where you can shoot consistently AM & PM for a good 6 cycles or so.

It happens, but not very often that you get the same preshot. Your new dose should be 0.75 units going forward, until/unless she goes too low on it. The depot of the previous higher doses should diminish over time.
In this range i am afraid that she will drop very low on +6
When kitties start lower, sometimes their nadir will be earlier. I would hold off on the gravy at the next test, unless she is below 68.

You can probably wait an hour before you test again. If she's hungry you can give a little bit of low carb food, but otherwise I would hold off on feeding. You've done a great job so far.

@ rawia So glad you posted here where you can get more people viewing your thread, you get much more help that way! Looks to me like Meme is really doing well, getting into some good numbers on a reduced dose. Congratulations! :bighug:

Yes i did what you told me but still afraid to shoot on low BG

Yes, this way, having your own "condo" or thread, you get lots more people to see it and be able to offer help. You're doing a great job! So glad you lowered Meme' dose!

Thank you for staying around. Hope this dose will keep her in green and blue most of the time.

The insulin is wearing off in addition to the reduced dose to .75u. She had a little extra momentum the beginning of her cycle. She looks good and you did great. Get some rest.

She may bounce, just be patient. Keep the .75u for at least 6 cycles unless she drops below 68 then you reduce. Hope you start posting regularly, lots of people to help.

Yes but just tested now +10 373 which make me sad,

Should i keep the dose or increase!!

She jumped very high in only 2 hours , that is very sad thought we passed the 300 an i will never see it again

Any advice

And she through up today and did not eat yet. Hope it is not from the honey yesterday

More likely, the higher numbers are from the famous "bouncing"-- the honey effect is loooong gone, don't worry about that!

I'm more worried about the throwing up and not eating. When you start the new thread (I'll be keeping an eye out for it!), can you give some more details about that? Hope she's feeling better soon...
