Marvin's Mom - Nat

Had a frustrating day. Think that the pharmacy messed up Marvin's carbogoline. Picked it up Monday, they used to give it to me in pre-filled syringes, but last time they asked if ok to give in bottle. I said yes. Well the bottle is dark sort of see throw brown, syringe is same color. So I didn't think anything about it, give Marvin his shot Monday and Tuesday, couldn't really tell if anything in syringe figured it was cause of the color. Any ways this morning I decided to shake the bottle for some reason, and felt nothing. I opened it and it was empty
. I didn't spill it, doesn't look like it leaked. So either it was empty when I got it or it vanished
Call Pharmcy, lab said not alot in bottle that I probably gave the whole thing to him...hmmm.... said need to be at first line of syringe. I said no its at the .1ml, mark that I had checked the pre-filled knowing that I was getting bottle, and used to measuring. If I had given the whole bottle in 2 days, Marvin probably would be dead.... she then I guess looked at the syringe and confirmed it was line 10 (0.1ml). Said they could make another for Monday
. Asked for tomorrow, said maybe. Spoke with someone and doesn't look like they made it the same, as less pills, very confusing...... The pharmacist I worked with is on vacation, so lab isn't being flexible.
Ok just got a call, explaination for the difference in pills apparently is that compounding is normally only good for a month, and my perscription amount would have been for 2 month supply, so that is why they used less in the compounding..... I will have to figure out what I am being charged for when Pharmacist is back.... I am confused.... they did confirm they will have it for me tomorrow.
So... looks like Marvin probably got nothing since monday.......
