Hi all,
So I was up at 4:30 am and I said "what the heck, let me see what Tigger's BG is. It was 206...good news. I went back to bed and got up an hour later and Tigger had harassed my husband for treats like he does every morning. I mean, he follows you around meowing frantically, getting in the way of you walking, until he gets treats (Temptations). So my husband gave him "a few" like he always does. I didn't think they were that horrible because supposedly, they only have 1 calorie per treat...wrong! After the treats he went up to 308! Come to find out "a few" meant almost a handful between his and his sister's.
I get it because I have seen him in the morning demanding treats...but needless to say, I am buying low carb treats. The most economical ones seem to be Young Again Zero True Carnivore treats. Anyone use them and are they a good choice? I was just going to do freeze dried chicken but this is half the price for an ounce more.
Now I am re-thinking all of his numbers because this is a morning ritual. I think I convinced my husband to stop but it will be good to have a more appropriate treat so he still gets his fix.
Let me know,
Stephanie (and the beggar, Tigger)

I want Tigger to be happy too while doing what's best for his health. You can only stand up to begging so much! Without treats this morning his curve is going great so far today!
