Truly, if she were my cat, I would skip the shot and start over again in the morning as long as she has been ketone negative and eating well.

I hear echo of these words in my house from DH...

I'll go with no shot.

WTH, there is first time for everything, right?..Even the most radical things, like no shot for my Ducia. (scary not to shoot, can you believe it?)

Excellent!!! Try not to worry. I also look at it that, while she might not have insulin for another 12 hours, if you did shoot an 18 hour schedule, she’d only have insulin twice in 36 hours as opposed to three times, normally. I was only thinking of the 18 hour schedule in case she was really high. It’s a good fallback for some situations, but in this one, I firmly believe you’ve made the right decision.

I’d grab a test before you go to bed to make sure she isn’t dropping back down, give her a good LC meal, save some strips, and get some rest. If she’s dropping back down, you might just want to feed LC/test and make sure she is staying up before you call it a total night.

I jinxed it all when I mentioned the "P" word the other day. (pink) Hope the bouncing doesn't last long for her. I don't know what I am doing or what advice to offer ever, but I think you made the right decision when you decided to skip.
