Not sure how he does it every time I leave, but Walter once again managed to drop pretty low on my poor cat-sitter. And I cut his dose in half!!! She didn't give him Insulin this morning and he ate his entire breakfast and seemed just fine.

Thank you to everyone who responded to yesterday's post about purchasing Insulin in Canada. We made it to Ottawa very late last night after lots of delays. I will call around tomorrow to see if I can find a pharmacy in Montreal that will sell me (or my Canadian colleague) Lantus without a script. It would be easiest if I could just buy it on the day we're leaving. Otherwise, I will just go ahead and purchase it here. I have a fridge in my room, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Alright, I better get ready. I still woke up at 2 am - I guess my body is so used to getting up at 2 am (+6) too feed a snack and test that I don't even need an alarm anymore. Needless to say, I am a bit slow moving this morning.

Our kitties have the worst timing. I'm glad the catsitter skipped the shot. I hope that drains the depot and Walter surfs safely for the rest of your trip. I hope you can get some insulin. Have a good time.

Welcome to Ontario Christina! I wish I were closer to Ottawa; I'd love to meet you. But alas I'm several hours away.
All I do to get Boomer's insulin is walk into a store and ask for it. No script necessary. If you can find a Walmart it would probably be cheaper than the drug stores are.
Maybe Walter drops due to stress? It does seem that he does it whenever you go away! Boomer drops due to stress too.

I hope you have a good stay in Canada!

Walter you be safe till mama bean gets back!!!!
Have a nice time in Canada!!!!!!
