Hi All,
Sorry it has been awhile since my last post. Osha has been doing ok, but her numbers aren't great. I've been stressed with trying to find a job and I think that makes my patience with Osha a little on the short side. I miss the way she was before diabetes. She used to be a snuggle bug, but since the diagnosis she will only snuggle occasionally. The food craziness and waking me up every night is also really getting on my nerves. I feel bad that she thinks she is starving all the time. I hate having to put her in "kitty jail" (my bedroom) anytime I am cooking or eating anything. She meows and scratches at the door to get out the entire time. If I don't put her away, she will snatch the food right out of your hand or plate. And of course, waking me up every night for food is really bothering me. The stress of not having any income in three weeks means I absolutely need more sleep to get through my day, but she just won't let me.
On the positive, my daughter graduates from 6th grade in three weeks and she has done a fantastic job this year. I am looking forward to her band and choir concert next week. My mom continues to heal but still needs a job herself. I have an amazing man who loves me and my family.
I hope everyone has a restful and enjoyable Sunday.
