No change today. Still not eating a thing in his own. I even bought some stinky Snappy Tom's which got my hepatic lipidosis foster to eat, no sale here. He wandered out to the solarium a couple times to catch some sunshine. I talked to the critical care vet this afternoon. She wants him to have a recheck with his vet, but now we need a miracle. Poor boy doesn't last long on my lap. He's too uncomfortable.

Yes, he is getting his calories by syringing. He started out being really good about it, but now he is getting more resistant to it, turning his head. I am trying many small meals, no more than a couple syringes ata a time. He took a few licks of AD this morning, then stopped. I was hopeful because he came into the kitchen looking like he was interested. And that was before his tummy meds.

The emotional rolller coaster continues, but I don't think he has much longer. I don't know if kitty cannabis supplements are available here. I haven't seen them. It would take too long to order in and I don't think I could get them shipped across the border anyway.

Thank you all. If you could send a little light and love this way at 1:30-1:45 Pacific time tomorrow afternoon, I'd much appreciate it. Dr. Sue is coming by tomorrow afternoon. Poor lil guy doesn't look like he is enjoying life. He ate 4 bites of A/D but growled at me later when I tried to assist feed. It looks like his belly is filling up with fluids again. As the vet Dr. Sue said, better now than when his belly feels like a ball of fire.

Today he gets lots of loving, and I'm going to try to give him a little bit of fluids. Not too much, due to the heart murmur. He is still purring at cuddles.

I'm hanging in there, but incredibly sad. I miss my bed companion. He had a rough start to life - I adopted him after he'd spend 6 years at the shelter, with a few time outs for failed adoptions.
